1925 - Petition published

The provisional committee of the Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board published its petition to the Governor-General on 24 February and 2 March 1925.

It outlined the partnership between Ōpōtiki Borough Council, Ōpōtiki County Council and Whakatāne County Council, and the representation that each area would have on the electric power board.
